The Hotel Le Relais in Biscarrosse is located nearbt the 3 lakes, a perfect opportunity to enjoy the diversity of the landscapes, for moments of pure relaxation in a preserved site.

A real paradise surrounded by pine trees, the north lake or Cazaux-Sanguinet is lined with sandy beaches with swimming areas. This natural lake of fresh water reaches the 28° in season. Particularly popular among families, because very safe.
Leisure activities are varied: sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, water skiing, ski climbing or diving or fishing.

The south lake or Biscarrosse Parentis, or Lac Latécoère, was in the 30s-50s, the test hydrobase of the large French seaplanes. Covering an area of ​​3600 ha, shorelines can be sandy, wooded or bordered by marshes or dunes.

Wilder and protected, the small lake is a fishing reserve and a refuge for migratory birds. Located between the two lakes, the navigation is formally forbidden to any motor boat to preserve this space.

The 3 lakes are connected by a long channel of 6km opened in 1834, the Transaquitaine channel. It allows sailers to connect the different lakes.
 

The lake museum

The museum proposes to discover more than 2000 years of history and 40 years of underwater archaeological research in the lake.
