This festival, which was born in 1999, was first a small festival organized on the town hall square, before migrating to the Espace Gemme to be transformed into a "Jazz Village".
The objective of this festival is to present jazz in all its facets, from tradition to modernity, to reflect the perpetual evolution of jazz.
You will find 3 scenes: the meal scene, the bodega scene and the tent.
Jazz in Sanguinet 2019: 14 free concerts
For this 20ᵉ edition, the Festival Jazz in Sanguinet still has some nice surprises in store for you. 14 free concerts are offered as well as paid concerts where Michel Jonasz will be present with Jean-Yves d'Angelo, Ronald Baker & Michèle Hendricks, Raphaël Lemonnier quartet & Tricia Evy.
Like the 2018 edition, a springboard is being organised this year on Tuesday 23 July. The purpose of this springboard is to put young musicians and groups in competition in order to make them known in the region. The winner of the springboard will perform on July 26. A great opportunity to discover new talents.
